Hello, Ciao, we are Kristine, Mark and Elliot.

We are a small family of three (husband, wife and dog) that divide our life between living in Italy and California. Toscana or Tuscany and Southern California to be exact. Hence the ever so clever title of our blog, Toscalifornia.

Mark is an ex-professional cyclist (aka bike geek), enthusiast of all things mechanical, and appreciates a good cold birra. Kristine is a reformed workaholic (sort of), enjoys being outside on sunny days with the ones she loves and is forever seeking 'the best wine ever'. Elliot (known to his adoring fans as 'The Wandering Westie') is a formerly homeless Westie, spoiled beyond measure yet leads a very humble existence as a blogger himself and has an extreme fondness for bistecca.

Together we capture our adventures and musings on this blog. In equal parts we hope to share, educate and entertain our family, friends and readers.
